At the moment, Bernanke is up for confirmation for a second term as chairman of the Federal Reserve and he is getting attacked from the left and the right for his failings. If you want a truly fair and balanced view of Bernanke and a clear explanation of the inner workings of the Fed, this is the best single book to read.
